Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio (BGCNEO) is looking for a Volunteer & Events Manager. The Volunteer & Events Manager is responsible for administering successful fundraising/special events and volunteer programs across northeast Ohio by leading all event planning and production of meetings and discussions; negotiating costs and services with vendors; booking events space; coordinating food/beverage and decorating; and securing guest speakers and entertainment. Traveling is required to track, recruit, on-board, and manage individual volunteers. The Volunteer & Events Manager will be assigned a portfolio of events to manage and a portfolio of locations to administer volunteer programs.
This is a full time position with benefits; salary $45,000. Bachelors degree preferred, 1-3 years experience in volunteer and event management, and proficient in Microsoft Office. This position is remote working outside of a traditional office environment. Must have reliable transportation for regular travel related to your assigned portfolio.
